The Jefferson Elementary Multicultural Festival is a longstanding community tradition that brings Jefferson families together, celebrates our diversity, features our students' talents, and raises critical funds for our school programs. Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends and the whole family!
How to Participate
Silent Auction
Our Silent Auction is completely online again this year. Click below to view items and place your bids. You will also be able to view the physical items at the event on May 17th. Staff will be available to assist with online bidding.
Volunteer
We need every family to volunteer 1-2 hours. Sign up to work a booth or help with pre-event prep.
(Pssst: Volunteers earn 8 free game tickets for their students!)
Buy Game Tickets
There will be fun games and crafts that represent cultures all around the world. Game tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the event. The more games you win, the more fun stuff you get at the prize table!
Family Culinary Class
NEW! Family Culinary Experience! Take a 30-minute cooking class and make vegetarian "sushi stacks" with our very own Mrs. G. Experience what your children are learning weekly in our new culinary lab. Sign up to reserve your time!

Game Tickets
Game tickets will be on s and can be used for more than 30 games and crafts! Pre-buy now to skip the line and save! Earn stamps in your passport to redeem for prizes and maybe a GOLDEN TICKET! Games/activities cost 2-15 tickets. Raffles will take tickets, but food trucks will not.

Each year, every grade level provides themed items to create a basket that will be raffled off during our event. Talk to your Classroon Rep for more info. Basket item themes this year are:
1st Grade - Beach Day
Basket Item Ideas: Boogie boards, skim boards, wetsuits, sunscreen, beach hats, towels, beach blanket, beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrella, beach games, beach bags, beach coolers, beach wagon, sunglasses, a gift card to Board and Brew for an easy beach lunch, gift cards to a local surf shop (Sun Diego, Surfrider) for swimwear and other beach items
2nd Grade - MultiCultural Culinary Adventures
Basket Item Ideas: Tools and non-perishable food items that can be used to create a dinner experience from a variety of cultures. Pizza stone, pizza sauce, pizza slicer, pizza peel, tortilla press, tortilla warmer, taco stands, salsa and chips, hot sauces, pasta roller, marinara sauce, cutting boards, knife set, ramen bowls and spoons set, sushi maker set, gift cards to local Carlsbad restaurants such as French/Danish bakeries, Himalayan restaurants, etc.) cookware, dishes, or other kitchen items
3rd Grade - Toys + Games + Books
Basket Item Ideas: Variety of toys and games geared toward elementary aged kids - cars and tracks, dolls, action figures, LEGO, kid card games, kids board games, magnetic tiles, stuffies, book and book sets, STEAM kits
4th Grade - Family Fun
Basket Item Ideas: Items to create family fun activities, such as board games, outdoor/lawn games, movie tickets/movies, candy, popcorn maker + bowls, gourmet popcorn, gift cards to family activities - Dave and Busters, Boomers, Regal, Cinepolis, bowling alleys, trampoline parks, etc.
5th Grade - Coffee + Tea + Me (time)
Basket Item Ideas: Coffee beans/grounds, variety pack of teas, tea diffuser, teapot, travel mug, coffee/tea accessories, local coffee/tea shop gift cards, at home spa items, gift cards to local bookstores, candles and aromatherapy items, skin care and hair care items, spa gift cards
Gift cards are also a fun option to include in baskets and are always welcome.
